My painting style continues the traditions of abstract expressionism. They are approached as painting sketches and reflect the different emotional states or THE MOODS at that certain moment of time. Whether it is the calmness of the early morning or the energetic state of a specific event, the mood is at the essence of any of our human action and even thought. Before doing anything we must be in the mood. Rather than depict the world around us in representational form, I try to reflect the inner state of a human being. I am an architect living in New York. I obtained my Master of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati, OH, USA and my Bachelor degree in Architecture from Moscow Architectural Institute, Moscow, Russia. I studied painting throughout my teenage years. I completed drawing and paining courses at various Art Academies as well as private courses. My most recent work was exhibited at the Narrative Art Exhibition held at CUNY, New York, in October 2007.
